Team Fortress 2 is FREE?!?!

So for the longest time I have wanted to play Team Fortress 2 (there's the link to the site that now offers it for free), but I haven't actually wanted to spend the money, since my computer really can't play it. Well guess what? I don't know how long it has been free, but it is, so go get it! I found out that it was free while watching the Meet the Medic video. This video is hilarious and amazing! I, personally, believe it is the best "Meet the TF2 Team" video yet. You should REALLY check it out!

Just be ready for a LONG download, as this is a hefty 9 or 10 GB. If you have a slow internet like mine, the estimated download time is ... 11 hours.... great.

Creative Differences Between Jacobb20970 and MacFan

So, at this rate, I will NOT be doing the gaming channel, because MacFan INSISTS that I use the gears background for my youtube channel, which is only going to be partnering/branching with tech-buzz. I was planning on using a tech-buzz intro for videos that were tech-buzz oriented, but apparently that is not enough. I don't want the gears as the entire background. Maybe if I had a personalized one, and could put part of it as tech-buzz, or the gears, or whatever, then it'd be fine.

So things are slowly improving. It seems I now just need to adjust whatever background I was intending to make to use the tech-buzz color-scheme. Not bad.

Soon-to-be Tech-Buzz's Gaming Channel Director

It has been decided between me and MacFan (for those of you who don't know, MacFan is the owner and manager of this site, and the one who provides the funding for it so it stays up) that I, Jacobb20970, will be the director of the up-and-coming gaming channel for Technology Buzz.

I haven't gotten everything set up, and I am still working out some kinks in my video editing software, but if you would like a preview on the different areas I will be working on, check out my channel (at this time it does not show official affiliation with the site, as I'd like to NOT show a connection that leads TO the site, rather than from it, until I have things up and running smoothly) you can click this link. At this time, it only has a few videos that are rather low-quality, since it primarily consists of test videos. There are a few that were made and uploaded via COD: Black Ops theater mode, a few that were recorded on my laptop (these are VERY low quality, or have an absurdly low framerate, as my computer is super-slow), and one recorded with my Roxio Game Capture.

Hopefully, I will soon be setting up monetization via Google AdSense on my channel, so I may begin receiving small funds to help support the site, or to upgrade some of my seriously crummy stuff (*ahem* my internet...). What this means for the viewers is that there may occassionally be short ads before or after videos (long ones have an option to be skipped after 5 seconds have played), and sometimes there will be an ad on the side of the page above the video recommendations. (The layout and particulars of the ad displays and functions may change in the future. These changes are up to google's and youtube's discretion.) If you see an ad that is genuinely interesting, please feel free to check it out (clicking the ads opens up a new window, and the sites are safe, otherwise youtube and google wouldn't put them up).
